The Cambridge club at the Beehive Centre is running a variety of gymnastics and ninja sessions this summer! From bars to artistry, we’ve got useful workshops for our members.
All the sessions below can be booked at the Cambridge club reception.
Cambridge Summer Schedule
Falling With Style Masterclass
For this masterclass, we will introduce the children to how to handle moves when they don’t go to plan. Through a mix of creative challenges and specific bailing techniques, they will learn how to move more instinctively and safely.
This is suitable for all abilities aged 8+ years.
DATE: Monday 28th July

Floor & Trampette Crash Course
This Crash Course will help the gymnasts explore how to further apply the floor and trampette skills they have been learning in lessons. They will spend a little time refreshing some of the fundamentals before beginning to work on a group piece to perform to parents on the last day.
This crash course is suitable for Beginner & Intermediate Gymnasts aged 6+ years.
DATE: Wednesday 20th July and Thursday 31st July
TIME: 11AM – 2PM each day

Intermediate Bars Workshop
This workshop will focus on the key areas of bars that most Gymnasts struggle to perfect, such as their squat on and straddle undershoots from a cast.
This workshop is suitable for Intermediate Gymnasts aged 7+ years.

Ninja Crash Course
This Crash Course will help the ninjas explore how to further apply the skills they have been learning in lessons. They will learn what goes into creating a good routine and will get to come up with their own routine to perform on the last day. This is for all ninjas aged 6+ years.

Intermediate Beam Workshop
Beam is often the piece of apparatus that Gymnasts can struggle with. This workshop is designed to give the gymnasts more time and energy focused on beam skills. The coach will be going into great detail to help significantly impact developing their confidence.
This workshop is suitable for Intermediate Gymnasts aged 7+ years.

Floor & Beam Artistry Masterclass
For this masterclass, we will be looking at the finer details and understanding of dance techniques that are a part of the elements that go into creating routines. Gymnasts will learn two dance sequences that they can incorporate their favourite skills into to make their own mini beam and/or floor routine.
This masterclass is suitable for Advanced Gymnasts aged 8+ years.
