You will be responsible for providing general administrative support on a full range of HR issues to support the People Team. One of your main priorities will be assisting the People Team with our recruitment process, performing reference requests and undertaking background vetting checks. All our new starters need to complete DBS checks and you will ensure we have the correct ID documents whilst being on hand to assist with any DBS related queries.
We are passionate about developing and upskilling our People Assistant and so we would also like you to assist our People Adviser’s with employee relation cases, assist with note taking. We will also invite you to work on exciting ad hoc projects with the People Team.
Other areas you’ll likely be involved with;
Answering internal and external people related queries, acting as the first port of call.
Act as our expert on keeping our records up to date.
Support us with onboarding new starters and offboarding leavers.
Administrating HR documentation, this includes issuing contracts for new starters and sending our letters.
Provide support with payroll activities by checking over new starter details on the employee system.
