Lenny’s mum contacted our team after seeing the Gymfinity and Beyond campaign on our Instagram platform.
His heart-warming story was kindly emailed in by Janina.
“I saw your post on Instagram and wanted to tell you about my son Lenny. He has been going to ninja at Colchester for a year.
Lenny has a condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which is a connective tissue disorder that causes fatigue, dislocations and all kinds of other rubbish stuff. But going to Ninja has given him confidence and increased his strength and the control he has over his flexibility. He has come on leaps and bounds with the encouragement of his Coaches Tommy and Joel, who he adores. Tommy always encourages him to go that little bit further and to believe in himself and what he can achieve.
My son loves going to ninja more than anything else and shows his classmates at school his moves. It’s done wonders for his confidence by allowing him to focus on what he can achieve rather than the limitations of his condition.
I am so grateful to Gymfinity and his Coach Tommy for giving him something he loves so much and that builds his strength and his confidence without him even realising.”
We want to hear about the difference Gymfinity Kids has made to your family beyond your child’s weekly classes. Whether that’s an increase in confidence, your child is making friends, won a Star of the Week certificate or has mastered a technical move, we want to know.
Share your story with us using our hashtag #GymfinityAndBeyond or email email@example.com to be in with a chance of winning a monthly prize and having your story published on our channels.
